You were awarded a court judgment, now what?
Judgment Professionals work to collect the money you deserve. Usually, this is done by “taking assignment” of the judgment and enforcing it in the Judgment Professional’s name, using a variety of hard-nosed legal techniques, including:
No. Each case is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. At this time, we are not accepting medical judgments.
In a consumer driven society, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to consume without leaving some sort of paper trail. Through forensic analysis of that trail, our knowledge and experience is strategically aligned. We use every legal means of locating debtors and their assets, including computer research, credit reports, public and non-public records, court research, mail and telephone tracing, records obtained by subpoena, and other in-the-field investigative tactics. Our back door approach allows us access to information not available to the general public. These include "restricted" databases used by law enforcement and other investigative agencies.
In life, there are no guarantees. There are times when a debtor has died or a corporation has dissolved and there are no assets for us to act upon. In other cases, debtors are simply "judgment proof" meaning they have no assets and their income is exempt from attachment. What that said, we can wait more time until the debtors situation improves and then continue enforcement.
No two cases are alike. Typically, the majority of debtors are located within 90 days. Resolution depends on many factors including the age of the judicial judgment, the size of the judgment and the judgment debtor's profile. There are also other factors to consider such as the Sheriff's Dept. and the courts. Oftentimes, the legal system walks to the beat of its own drummer causing the wheels of justice to move slower than we prefer.

Unless the judgment has been purchased outright, you are paid a percentage of what is collected, usually with no upfront fees. Often, a significant amount of investigative work is required as part of this collection effort, both into the debtor’s location, as well as into their assets. We advance all costs and are reimbursed if we enforce and ultimately recover a court-awarded judgment.
